Community Living Services

What are Assistive Technologies for Community Living?

Assistive Technology for Community Living includes a wide array of devices, products, and services that enable a person who experiences a disability to participate in the natural activities that occur from day to day in the lives of people who live in the community.

Independent Living Centers

The following Independent Living Centers have access to assistive technology for demonstration and reuse programs.  All participate in the AK Trading Post, a website for reuse of durable medical equipment (DME) and other types of adaptive devices.
