About Us

Assistive Technology of Alaska (ATLA) is Alaska’s only statewide nonprofit dedicated to helping people of all ages use assistive technology (AT) to live, learn, work, and participate fully in their communities. We believe that everyone deserves the tools and support they need to reach their goals, whether that’s in school, at work, at home, or out in the world.

For over 25 years, our team of skilled AT Specialists has partnered with individuals, families, and professionals to explore solutions that increase independence and quality of life. From simple everyday tools to complex devices, we help people understand their options, try solutions, and make informed decisions that work for them.

ATLA serves all Alaskans, of any age and any ability. Whether someone is adapting to a new challenge after an injury, managing life with a long-term disability, or seeking ways to improve everyday functioning, we’re here to help. Our services span rural communities, urban centers, and every corner of the state.
