About Us

Assistive Technology of Alaska (ATLA) is Alaska’s only statewide nonprofit dedicated to helping people of all ages use assistive technology to live, learn, work, and participate fully in their communities. We believe that everyone deserves the tools and support they need to reach their goals, whether that’s in school, at work, at home, or out in the world.

For over 25 years, our team of skilled Assistive Technology Specialists has partnered with individuals, families, and professionals to explore technology solutions that increase independence and quality of life. From simple everyday tools to advanced communication devices, we help people understand their options, try solutions, and make informed decisions that work for them.
